Just wanted to say how good the lads have been at Pelham gate over the last few weeks. The excavation was a nightmare and took much longer than originally planned, Jon was really helpful as he had to reshuffle the programme several times to get the works done. Darren and Brad worked flat out on the excavation and Pat was great managing to get the reinstatement completed in time before the notices ran out.

I would like to take this opportunity to compliment PBU on their work standards, work ethics and care in dealing with the landowners whose land we are crossing with the cable, they are an absolute breath of fresh air to deal with. They have met and dealt with all the challenges below the ground in a very professional manner and with the minimum of fuss. This was a high profile, fast track operation encompassing some 20 kilometres of open cut excavation and backfill works and specialist HDD crossings with some major drives through the rock, all accomplished on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of the overall Client.

Just wanted to say what a good job Liam has done at Barnsdale Road the last couple of weeks, really neat work and has done exactly as I’ve asked. Also so far the reinstatement has been spot on, this was a difficult job to excavate and reinstate and the client is really pleased.

Just had a report from Matt Ross on the sub-contractor performance of the year so far. You have had no utility strikes and are within the defect and FPN target - so great work. We have only had one customer complaint regarding the state of some seed but myself and Robin have seen pictures and we deem it as acceptable . Further to this Jon arranged for someone to go back and rectify straight away. You are also on top of the interim to perm - so great work Finally - a big thank you to Jon and the gangs during lockdown ensuring we kept delivering work while sites were shutting, etc. John has been very accommodating with changes in the programme daily
